Nancy Offenbach Spaulding, RLA, Principal

Nancy is a licensed Landscape Architect with a Bachelor's degree from Brown University in Biology where her studies focused on ecology and plant biology. Prior to becoming a Landscape Architect Nancy worked at the Woods Hole Marine Biology Laboratory and the C & O Canal National Historic Park. After receiving her Master's degree from Cornell University in Landscape Architecture and prior to establishing the firm in 1998, she worked for several Boston area firms including Earl R. Flansburgh and Associates where she was the lead Landscape Architect on the Boston Design Center, Carol R. Johnson and Associates where she worked on municipal projects and several schools and University campuses and at Benjamin Thompson and Associates where she was a Project Landscape Architect for the IBM Southbury, Connecticut Facility. While at Cornell Nancy spent a semester studying design in Copenhagen, Denmark and wrote her master's thesis on Parking Lot Design. She is also a National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) graduate. Nancy has been licensed for over 20 years and currently holds registration in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York. She volunteers her expertise to many local organizations and was a member of the Soundwaters Environmental Education Center's Business and Environment Committee for over a decade. Nancy has also been a ceramic artist for many years and received the 2019 First Place Prize in Ceramics at the Silvermine Arts Center Student Show in New Canaan, Connecticut.

Bradford Kent Spaulding, RLA, Principal

Brad is a licensed Landscape Architect with a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University in Landscape Architecture . Prior to joining the firm in 2002 Brad worked for several firms in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. While he worked in Boston, Brad was the Landscape Architecture Department Head for Hyugens Dimella Schaeffer, a large architecture firm and a Project Manager for the City of Boston. Brad has designed and been the construction administrator on a range of projects including ski resorts, corporate headquarters and private properties. Brad was licensed in 1986 and currently holds registration in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York. He has lectured for the Greenwich Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency on "Sustainable Landscaping", Soundwaters Business and Environment Lecture series on "Sustainable Land Management & Landscaping Practices for Home and Business" and for several local garden clubs to promote environmentally sensitive sustainable design practice. Brad also volunteered his time to the Stamford Environmental Protection Board as a member for over five years.
